Commonwealth champions launch auction for Solibad

Kashyap Parupalli, Ashwini Ponnappa and Jwala Gutta, who were recently involved in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, gave the T-shirts they wore in the final of the event for Solibad’s project in India « Bubbles of hope »

The Indian players kept their shirts to give it to Solibad – Badminton without Borders right after their matches. Kashyap went on to win the Gold medal after beating Derek Wong of Singapore while Jwala Gutta and Aswhini Ponnappa secured silver of the women’s double event.
“We are keeping this T-shirt for Solibad’s new project in India. I hope that the auction will raise a lot of money” said Jwala in a short video which was recorded few minutes after the podium Ceremony.

The funds raised by the auction will go to Solibad’s new project in India – “Bubbles of Hope”

The project helps a school of deaf children – mostly orphans – situated in the small city of Sivasailam, 180 km from Madurai. Around 100 children are within this school and one of the goals is to collect money to buy audio equipment in order to help the children get back to a normal life, as well as computer science equipment for the school.
All benefits from the auction will go to the project.

ALL SHIRTS will be send together with a professional photo (A4), signed by the champions with the name of the winning bidder !!!
