On September 29th 2012, for the second SOLIBAD DAY, SoliBad – Badminton without Borders – is calling for a giant Flashmob all over the world, to promote its work. The message we want to send is to show that the badminton community, from top stars to leisure players can get mobilised to support projects aimed at helping underprivileged children all over the world. And to do so in a joyful manner by gathering and performing the second worldwide Badminton Flashmob.
On June 5th 2011, 65 cities from 43 countries joined the record breaking first Flashmob for SoliBad. This year, we aim to have more than 100 cities from all 5 continents. Everyone is welcome to join, participate or even organize one in their own country.
The new challenge this year, will also be to collect funds to support SoliBad on top of performing the Flashmob. It can be done either on the spot, on September 29th, but it can also be a long term fund raising activity which will be ended on September 29th.
Let’s rock the world!
